背景
- CD71 is expressed by all proliferating cell populations and exists as a homodimer at the cell surface. Clone ER-MP21 inhibits iron uptake and cell proliferation but does not compete with transferrin for binding to its receptor, which suggests that clone ER-MP21 binds to an epitope that is different from the transferrin-binding site.Synonyms: TfR1, Transferrin receptor protein 1, p90
